The Parent Lab congratulates Usama Zafar on his acceptance into the neuroscience doctoral program at Georgia State University. Usama has been in the Parent lab since January 2022 and is finishing his masters in neuroscience at the end of spring 2022.
Additionally, Usama is a member of Dr. Stern’s lab where he investigates heart failure in rat models. The Parent lab explores the effect of heart failure on memory and cognition.
We are excited to have Usama pursue his doctoral degree in the Parent and Stern labs!
